Welcome to the Northwest Dentists Insurance Company (NORDIC).  We are the preeminent provider of professional liability and business owners insurance to dentists throughout Washington and Idaho.

NORDIC is owned by ODS Companies and the Washington State Dental Association (WSDA).  We are endorsed by the Washington State Dental Association, Seattle King County Dental Society and the Idaho State Dental Association (ISDA).  Washington Dentists' Insurance Agency (WDIA), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the WSDA, promotes our policies in Washington.  We work directly with Idaho dentists in conjunction with the newly-created ISDA insurance agency called Idaho Dentists' Insurance Agency.

Since our founding in 1989, we have grown dramatically because we have focused on providing superior claims defense, timely risk management advice, and efficient customer service.  Today, we enjoy serving over 2,600 dentists with an 80 percent market share in Washington and a bright future in Idaho.

We specialize in protecting dentists unlike most of our competitors who sell dental malpractice insurance as a sideline business.  Seven dentists serve on our Board of Directors ensuring that we operate in the best interests of our dentist policy holders.  We offer complementary consent forms, periodontal charts and risk management advice to our clients.
